Kins Country pinned Wfllkntn in their twenty-five until Walkato broke through. Krora an easy position Witlknto lulled to goal a penalty kick and iinoiher easy shot met the same fate. Kins Country cleared. The iirst score resulted from a line-out, nil the Walkato backs participating and Clements scoring. The kick failed. Wnikato continued to attack and Klrkup scored. The kick again failed. Bright passing bouts by both sides followed. Wnlkntn forced down. Walkato then had the best of things until King Country broke through. Hepeated attacks by King Country just failed. Half-time saw Wnikato hotly pressing. The second half opened with up and down play. The King Country backs getting possession, Mel-uy scored. A minute later Tarrant goalerl from a free kick. Six all. Sparkling forward play kept the spectators at high tension. King Country lind to force twice. Walkato had the upper hand, pressing continually until Burke scored. Charlstou converting. Johnston had to retire at this stage and n-as replaced by Waters, a local player. King Country pressed hard but failed with a free kick. Wniknto again took charge for some time until King Country broke through, but not for long. A few minutes hefore time King Country set up a series or hot attacks, but the defence wns too solid. The final whistle saw Wnikato attacking. There was no further score. Mr. Johnston wns referee.
