DACOITRY IN INDIA.

ROB AND RIFLE TRAIN.

MURDER AND PILLAGE.

MASKED THUGS IN LUCKNOW.

CBy Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.)

DELHI, August 11. It is reported from Kakori, near Lucknow, that four armed and masked dacoits held up the guard of a moving passenger train at the revolver point, pulled the communication cord, and stopped the train. The four assailants were joined by sixteen others, also masked. These rifled the brake van and decamped with the cash chests, after starting the train. A Gurkha passenger, while arming himself, was shot dead; also a Mohammedan and a European passenger, the latter while attempting to come out of a compartment. An armed contingent of railway men has been dispatched to the scene of the outrage.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) =^^^^===^====== Kγ
