(Received 12 noon.) PERTH, this day. An inquest was opened at Fremantle into the death of Ruby Yen. The police gave evidence that the woman's husband, Leong Yen, signed a statement setting out that his wife wished to return home. He seized her to prevent her departure. She fought him and he hit her. She fell dead. He put the body in a bag, later hired a motor car and was taken to Fremantle, where he dropped the body into the river from a railway bridge.
