Cabled advice received in -Auckland this morning reports the safe arrival at Callao, Peru, on Monday last of the Auckland owned schooner H. K. Hall after a prolonged voyage of 139 davi from Newcastle, New South Wales. * The news of the schooner's arrival was received by Mr. H. George, solicitor of Auckland, who is a brother of Capl tain G. H. George, owner of the vessel. The report added that Captain S L Hammer, master of the sailer, and all on board were in pood health. A series of calms was responsible for the bad tun a made by the schooner. The H. K. Hall, which is a five-masted vessel, loaded 1200 tons of coal at Newcastle, and took her departure for Peru on March 24. For a long time nothine was heard of the vessel, but no fears were entertained for her safety. Then on Tuesday of last week, she* was re ported off Valparaiso. The latter port is some 1300 miles south of Callao and the H. K. Hall was apparently proceed ing up the coast when seen "from that port. ■ On completion of the discharge of her present cargo, the H. K. Hal! will load at Pacific Coast ports for New Zealand. She is to discharge at Auckland, and Wellington, and will then proceed to Australia to put out the balance.
