A RADIO INTERVIEW.
CHIT CHAT AT 3700 MILES. (Received 10.30 a.m.) ILLINOIS, August 0. The first Arctic radio interview ever attempted wns successfully completed on Thursday by the Aenociated Press, when Lieutenant-Commander E. F. McDonald, jun., with the Macmillan Arctic expedition, answered five questions. The first question was sent and answered within a few minutes. Captain D. Macmillbn's ships were anchored at Etflh, 3700 miles distant.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
