GUNS FOR DIRIGIBLES.
TEN FOR THE SHENANDOAH. (lieceived 10 a.m.) WASHINGTON. August 0. The Navy Department has announced that the dirigible Shenandoah will be fitted with ten machine guns for experimental purposes. The guns will be placed—two in the forward gondolas, two aft. and two on the tbp of the ship, and one each in the power cars. T4ie Department plans to fly the Shenandoah westward as far as Dcs Moines (Iowa) on September I.—(.A. and N. 2. Cable.)
