CALEDONIAN GROUND
LEAGUE TENDER ACCEPTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNTEDIX. Thursday. The Caledonian Ground, which has been used for the Rugby code for manyyears past, has been secured by the Rugby League for football seasons over the next five years. The Caledonian Society of called for tenders for the use of the ground for the period from 192G to 1930, inclusive. Two tenders were received, the Rugby League offering £525 per season and the Rugby Union £300 per season, plus 25 per cent of the takings, in first grade matches played on the ground. The Finance Committee of the society decided to accept the tender of the League.
