GOLDEN WEDDING.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OAMAKC, this day. Mr. James Mitchell, of the "Oamaru Mail," and Mrs. Mitchell celebrated their golden wedding yesterday. Last night occasion wii's taken to make Mr. Mitt'holl a presentation of an illuminated address signed by the heads of all the local bodies, making acknowledgment of their activities in connection with everything helping forward the community during the 4K years they had been resident in Oamaru. Mrs. Mitchell was also tin; recipient of handsome presents from the proprietors and all employees of the '•Mail."
