DEATHS.

BRETT.—On July 31, Mary Winifred (Nurse), dearly beloved daughter of Alfred Brett and the late E. Brett, of Hobson Bay, Parnell. Funeral will leave her "brother's residence (Mr. Oliver Brett),. 14, Crescent Road, Parnell, on Sunday, August 2, at 1.30 p.m., for Purewa. Private Interment.

BROWN.—On August 1, 1925, at the Auckland Hospital, Joy Constance, dearly beloved youngest daughter of J. H. and O. A. Brown, of Westfield, aged 2 years 2 months. Private interment.

GREY.—On August 1, at a private hospital, Mary Bell Marlon, widow of the late George Grey, late of Gisborne; aged 46 years. The funeral will leave the mortuary of T. J. Mclvor and Sons, for Hillsboro' on Sunday, at 2 p.m. GREY.—Mrs. M., widow of late George Grey, Gisborne. sister late Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald, Gisborne. JACKSON.—On 24th July, 1925, at his son's residence, Pt. Chevalier, George Jackson, late of Pukekohe; aged 57. ILAMB.—On August 1, at a private hospital, Richard, dearly beloved husband 'ot Emma Lamb, of 14, View Road, Mount •Eden; in his eighty-second year. Private Interment.

NORGROVE.—On July 31, Phillip James, the Infant son of H. W. and M. Norgrove, Rawene Avenue, Heme Bay.

PURCELL.—At the Auckland Hospital on August 1, 1925, Peter Robert, youngest darling son of Mrs. C. E. May and the late L.C. Arthur Purcell, beloved grandson of Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Purcell, of Hopetoun Street, Newton, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Mackie, of Fernielea, Albany, aged 8 years. The funeral will leave his grandfather's residence, No. 1, Hopetoun Street, Newton, at 11 a.m., Monday. VINNICOMBE.—On August 1, at the residence of her daughter, 56, Belgium Street, City, Mary, relict of the late John. Vinnicom" ; aged 72 years. Funeral will leave at 2.30, S-nday, for Waikumete. Friends please accept this intimation. WELLS.—On August 1, at his residence, Papakura, after a painful illness, patiently borne, Eli, dearly beloved husband of Sarah Charlotte Wells, aged 73 years.
