Dr. Purchas, George, youngest son of the late George Ivil, of Pendlebury, near Manchester, Lancashire, England, to Jane, fifth daughter of the late Wm. Jordan and sister of the late Mrs. James Davis, Eden Terrace, late of Herefordshire.
