The Combined Universities team toj day defeated the New Zealand Rugby I League team by 15 points to 13 after a i spirited and spectacular display. There : were 5000 spectators. I The exhibition, of football was infinitely superior, from a scientific- standpoint, to that given in Saturday's contest. The play scintillated with sparkling passins - rushes from whistle to , whistle. Evatt hooked for the local team and j constantly fed his halves.
