COMPATRIOTS' WELCOME. ROME. June 7. The Italian airman, the Marchese di Pinedo. who recently arrived in Western Australia, is now making his plans to complete his world flight. Simultaneously with bis departure from Tokyo to cross the Pacific, a squadron of aeroplanes will leave Italy for America to escort him home. The air squadron will use transAtlantic passenger vessels as aids. They will descend to them, in case of need, for spare pints or other help.—A. and X.Z.
