An extensive search failing to reveal a lost will, a body was exhumed from the Kookwood Cemetery near Sydney on Tuesday, and tlie document, together with oilier personal belongings, was discovered. Recently at Enfield, one of the western suburbs, the death occurred suddenly of William Apsey, a retired school teacher, at the age of 00 years. Prior to his death he made a will involving a large amount that was known to the relatives and a solicitor. After the burial of the deceased, a search was made for the will, without success. Knowing the peculiar ways of the deceased the relatives formed the opinion that the will must have been buried with him in his pyjamas. The relatives applied to have the body exhumed. The operation took place on Tuesday, at Rookwood, in the presence of a number of gravediggers, a solicitor representing the relatives, and the police. J ( _U as a curious scene. Excitement was intense when the lid of the coffin was opened and a .search commenced. It was soon noted that something bulky was in the pyjama pocket, which, when removed, revealed the will, a number of' pound notes, and a pair of spectacles.
