DEATH OF A PRISONER.
FROM WAIKUNE CAMP. POST-MORTEM TO BE HELD. Requiring urgent medical attention, a convicted prisoner, named Ernest Roland Bindling, aged ,15, was brought to Auckland from tbe Waiknne Prison Camp, on April 2D. nnd admitted to the hospital here. He died at about 5 p.m. on Saturday. An inquest was opened before Mr. W. R. MeKoan, S.M., this morning, when Mr. T. Vincent, superintendent of Mt. Eden Prison, produced deceased's record, and identified him. Deceased was a married man. Tbe inquiry was adjourney, pending a post-mortem examination.
