Suzanne Lenglen, ■ when she was informed of Miss Helen Wills' comments after her defeat at Cannes, a few days ago. Miss Wills had told an interviewer: '■'Suzanne Lenglen is a truely wonderful plaj-er. I sincerely hope we meet in tho championship when we are both at- our best. I really believe she is better than I am, but I have hopes of winning."
