RAVAGES OF RUST.
SCIENCE AND CORROSION. CONTEMPLATED ACTION. (Received 11.30 a.in.) BALTIMORE, April. 8. The scientists of the American Chemical Society have agreed to the establishment of an institute where the -fundamental causes of rust and corrosion may lie studied. It is intended that such an institute shall wage a worldwide war iigainst the ravages of rust, which costs ■"United States alone each year the sum ] of three billion dollars.— (A. and N.Z.) !
