THE REDUCTASE TEST.
MILK COMPANY PROSECUTED. CASE AGAIN ADJOURNED. The Auckland Milk Company was prosecuted by the Health. Department in the Police Court yesterday on a charge that milk was alleged to be below the standard required to pass the reductase test. Mr. S. L. Paterson appeared for the Health Department and Mr. R. McVeagh for the defendant company. The case opened several months ngo, when the hearing was adjourned after expert evidence had been give regarding the systematic application of the test taken in Wellington. Yesterday, after further evidence had been given, the case wae adjourned for a fortnight.
