Eggs were in short supply, and high prices were realised:—Hen, 2/9 to 2/10J; duck, 2/7 to 2/8*; pullet, 2/5 to 2/G*. There was a medium supply of farmers' 'butter, which realised from 1/3 to 1/5, averaging 1/3 A. There were large supplies of vegetables, including some cauliflowers which brought up to 1/5 each.
