CHIROPRACTIC CLAIMS.

' (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, this day. The New Zealand and Australian Chiropractors' Association is urging that a commission should be set up to inquire into the association's methods of treatment of infantile paralysis. On the motion of -Mr. Braid, it was decided to support a comI mission appointed by the Government to inquire into the whole matter. The medical superintendent of the hospital reported 84 cases had been treated in the Wanganui Hospital, 33 discharged cured, without -paralysis, five discharged ', with recovering paralysis, but to come up I for outpatient treatment, and that 35 remained in hospital, while eleven had died. All but four deaths occurred ■within twenty-four hours of admission. lOf those still in hospital a good propor- ! tion were expected to be discharged withj out paralysis, and altfiough some cases j might require prolonged treatment, it was not anticipated that any lasting i deformities would result.
