PACIFIC MANOEUVRES. FLEET FOR DOMINION. WASHINGTON. March 17. The Secretary to the Xavv (Mr. Curtis Wilbur) states that Admiral Coontz is continuing the work of organising vessels which are to take part in the cruise to New Zealand and Australia. The following cruisers were to-day selected for inclusion in the cruising fleet: Trenton (flagship), Richmond, Marblehead, and Memphis. Important changes in the personnel were announced yesterday as follow: Captain Franklin Karne will be detached from tlie Naval War College and will command the Colorado. Captain Arthur Hepburn will be detached from the staff of the commander of the battleship division to command the West Virginia. Captain Willis McDowell will be detached from the Xaval War College to command the Oklahoma. Plans for provisioning the fleet before it leaves on the cruise and while it is in New Zealand or Australia are proceeding satisfactorily.— (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
