INSURED POSTAL PARCELS.

I • ARRANGEMENT WITH NEW ZEALAND. On March 1 an exchange of insured postal parcels between the Commonwealth and New Zealand was brought I into operation. Tli£ fees chargeable for I the insurance of parcels sent from AusUralia to New Zealand are as follow: — Xot exceeding £10 Od Exceeding £10, but not exceeding £120 Std Exceeding £20, but not exceeding £30 1/ Exceeding £30, but not exceeding £4p 1/H Exceeding £40, but not exceeding £oO 1/0 The fees for parcels sent from New Zealand to Australia are as follow,: — Xot exceeding £12 6d Exceeding £12, but not exceeding £24 ;>d Exceeding £L' 4, but not exceeding £36 1/ Exceeding £30, but not exceeding £48 1/4 Exceediug Kin, but not exceeding £60 1/7 Under the terms of the agreement, parcels containing liquids, semi-liquids, perishable articles such as eggs, butter, flowers, fruit, confectionery, etc., and fragile articles such as glassware, millinery, etc., may be insured against loss, but not against damage.
