He thought that Auckland could provide tli3 best court at the exhibition. Ten thousand extra tourists were expected to visit the Dominion, and their value financially to the country could be appreciated when it was realised that they would spe-nd x 150,000 on railway fares alone. Mr. K. E. Hornblow, Mayor of Dargaville, said that the North Auckland district wished to co-operate with the rest of the district. He thought that his own district could supply some of the best exhibits. Mr. A. T. Brainsby, of "Whangarei, said that too little was ■ known of the wonderful features of North Auckland. The district wanted to be adequately represented. Mr. J. A. (.'. Allum moved that the Auckland province be represented by a provincial court. This was carried, and it was resolved to communicate immediately with the various interested bodies, asking them to appoint delegates to a conference to be held to deal with the matter of Auckland's representation.
