A SERIOUS CHARGE.
At the Waipa Court, before Mr. R. W. Tate. S.M., Frank Potter, represented br Mr. Schramm, of Auckland, ■was charged with unlawful carnal knowledge of a girl under sixteen years. The accused pleaded not guilty, reserved his defence, and was committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court at Auckland. Constable Maisey conducted the case for the police.
