APPOINTMENTS MADE.

Out of eight applicants for the position of first assistant at Hamilton High School, left vacant by the resignation of Mr. W. Fraser, Mr. H. D. Tait, a member of the present staff of the school, has been # appointed. Mr. F. H. M. Tuck (Napier) has been appointed assistant master at Hamilton High School, and Mr •R- J. Bollard, jun., has been appointed general representative on the Hamilton High School Board of Governors..
Two youths, Lawrence Mills and Arthur Lenz, of Masterton, who were ■missing on the Tararua Ranees B ince Saturday, were found last night" all well. -Many search parties were out, but the Jads had only been delayed by a swollen river.
