The above was the opening paragraph of a letter from the Nexv Zealand Native Bird Protection Society appealing for moral support for its campaign xvhich was read at the last meeting of the council of the Wellington Chamber lof Commerce. | The letter added: "The efforts forwards conversation are quite, inadequate and out of date, and the sympathy ,of the public has never been fully , elicited in the matter. "Is this business?
