RAINS IN COMMONWEALTH.
FLOODS IN THE NORTH. SYDNEY. February 4. Heavy rain is falling in most parts of New South Wales. A message from Brisbane states that torrential rains in Queensland in the last few days have caused many of the northern rivers to overflow their banks, large areas of the country have been inundated. — (A. and N.Z.
