FIRST-CLASS CRICKET.
COVERING THE PITCH. OPTION IN LANCASHIRE. (Received 10.30 a.in.i LONDON, February 4. Lancashire County Cricket Club has derided to exercise the option of covering the pitch on the Lancashire grounds after 11 o'clock on the day preceding the match till the commencement. It is also considering the erection of a covered practice shed.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
