A thrilling spectacle was witnessed at San MnriU Lake. lahil >"orthesk and the Prince Odesalchi, on skis, attached themselves to an aeroplane, anil whirled around the lake, holding on to a wooden bar fixed to the aeroplane by a rope. Tbe skiers were often jerked off their feet into the air, but held on grimly, until travelling at 40 miles an hour. They thus circled the lake five times. When ihe skiers sigualled "Enough," the aviator showed great skill in keeping the machine low, and at, a fairly regular level. Adolph Fokker, the famous inventor, who watched the feat, now proposes to lake a bobsleigh party in a similar fashion. — (A. and N.Z. Cable.;
