TRAGEDY AT ARAPUNI.
THREE MEN BURIED. ONE KILLED OUTRIGHT. TWO OTHERS IN/.JURED. (By Telegraph.-Own Correspondent.) PUTARURU, this day. A tragedy occurred at Arapuni al about ti o'clock last evening, when ;: big fall of earth and rock from the fact ~f the cliff at the power house excava lion came down on three men. ('. Russell, aged about 27, whosi friends reside in Wellington, was killec outright, his skull being fractured Dave Morgan had Ills left leg brokci and sustained cuts on the head, whili the third man, Atlanison, twisted hi: left ankle and sustained severe bruises Dr. East, from I'titamru, arrived a' about 7 p.m., and attended to Morgai and Adamsnn. the former being thei sent to the Wuiktito Hospital.
