YOUNG MAN'S LAPSE.
BREAKING, EXTERIXG, AXD THEFT. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON", this day. ' A young man named George William Bird, was charged at Hamilton, yesterday, with breaking, entering, and theft from a dwelling in Xorton Road, Frankton. It was explained that the owner of the house left the key beneath a grating, from whore it wa-s removed by accused, who entered the house by it and stole a watch valued at. £7 10/. while a gold j ring was also missing. Accused pleaded guilty, and was committed for sentence.
