The report of the Police Commission, which sat to inquire into the mutiny in the police force, and now presented to the government, is not made available for publication, lt is learned, however, that reinstatement of the strikers is not likely to be recommended, and that the commission considered the men entirely in the wrong when they mutinied. The. report is expected to state that the force before the mutiny was efficient, and the action of the Chief Police Commissioner in dismissing the men will be criticised.—l. A. and N.Z. Cable.)
