AT NAPIER WOOL SALES. SMALL DROP IN PRICES. i P.y Telegraph.— rrcss Association.) NAPIER, this day. The Napier wool sales opened this morning, when a eatalougue comprising 20,000 bales was submitted to a full bench of buyers. Prices early showed no disposition to rea.-h the height achieved at earlier sales, but remained firm on those recorded at the recent MWanpinui sale. Ip to noon prices had shown a general all round decline of a penny per pound on the prices made at tne preceding Napier sale. The decline occasionally went as far at twopence, but for necks and attractive lots higher prices were obtained. The range of buyers operating seemed ■ larger than at previous -ales. Bidding wa_- brisk.
