HOME TEAM'S SECOND GAME. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The Plunket Shield match, Canterbury v. Wellington, was resumed to-day in good weather. Canterbury's second innings was resumed by- Patrick and Sandman to the bowling of Henderson and Badcock. Just after ISO runs had been made., Sandman mis-hit a ball from Badcock. It shot in the air and Hiddlestone took an easy catch. Boon was the next batsman. The total had reached 170 by noon. With the score at 173 Holland replaced Badcock at the pavilion end. Patrick brought up his half-century with a nice single off McGirr. Just after this Boon survived a confident appeal for caught "behind the wickets. At the luncheon adjournment Canterbury had scored 227 for the loss of six wicket*. Following are the score's: — CANTERBURY— Second Innings.
