Ho says she is i poor, badlynourished thing, and has lost most of her normal physical characters which are such a marked feature of the magmlicently built savage. The civilised woman's capacity to bear and produce children has become complicated by much trouble and innumerable sequelae, which often make her life miserable. Her sexual character is very defective, and she is degenerating in size. Tne vast majority are puny and insignificant, their brains over-stimu-lated by so-called education, by unsuitable foods, and drugs. They are unable to provide suflicient nourishment for Iheir offspring, and are obliged to depend on deleterious combinations supplied as a. food by chemists. Their unfortunate children, deprived of suitable food, become constipated, and their tissues are devitalised by poisons absorbed from the intestines and their teeth. Consequently their defective noses and throats are invaded by organisms producing adenoids, large tonsils, and pyorrhea, owing to the inability of poisoned tissues to resist the invasion of disease germs. Woman is the chief victim of civilisation, for which she is indebted to man's crass stupidity. Civilised woman has been subservient to man for centuries, and has not been allowed to participate in making laws controlling the community. The "People" and the "Dispatch" interviewed Sir W. Arbuthnot Lane, who said that the ignorance of men and women in all questions relating to foods is the primary factor in the development of cancer. He would like to see a society formed to prevent cancer by teaching the people what foods they can safely eat and what to avoid. The peasantry in the north of India, where cancer is practically unknown, never touch meat. They live mainly on bread made of wholemeal flour. White bread is not food—it is a sham. • A source of physical degeneration, illhealth, and disease is woman's craze for the "silhouette figure." Tt is a grave danger to themselves and the future race. Women in trying to look like boys destroy the character of their sex, Rubber corsets nnd similar contrivances for reducing the size of the hips and chest will prove most deleterious to the future race. They interfere with nutrition, and are liable to cause degeneration of the most important organs. Women are thereby exposing themselves to dangers of tumours and cancers. The trouble is that woman is much more ape-like and imitative than man. They do these things because other women do.
