SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS.
YOUNG SAMOANS" CRIME. Three young Samoans who were brought up by the Tofua this morning were the men sentenced to long tcrmo of imprisonment in connection with the theft of an auxiliary ketch. The men were charged with breaking and entering with firearms, and with stealing the ketch. After the burglary they took the vessel and made off, but were subsequently arrested at a neighbouring island. The men were tried and sentenced, on*> of them to a term of nine years and the other two to ten vcars each.
