KING COUNTRY STOCK SALES.

Messrs. D.-ilgety and Co., Ltd., To Kuiti, report having held sales ut Tuumurumii, Oturoliaufe'u and Mutleru during the past week. The market, for all classes of stock continued sound and a good clearance was effected at each centre at prices fully up to late ruling rates. At Otorohauga, where there was a very full, yarding of cattle, the principal feature of the sale was nn excellent yarding of good quality bullocks, the bulk oC which were offered on belialf or various vendors from the ltangitutn district. These cattle, which were well grown and well bred, were yarded in excellent condition and were keenly competed fur by local aud Waikato buyers. Taken generally, the store and forward bullocks offered comprised the best quality line that has been yarded in the King Country for some time. At Matiere there was a fair yardiug of sheep and a good yarding of cattle, the market was again sound, and, with the exception of n few odd beaats, a Total clearance was effected nt prices fully eijual to late rates.
