A WATERSIDERS' PROTEST.
REFUSE TO WORK MEAT SHIP. HOURLY RATE OF AWARD OPPOSED. (By Telegraph.—Press Associations OISBORNE, this day. Throe calls for labour for loading the meat steamer Cumberland were- made this morning without response. It is understood that the refusal of tho watcrsiders to accept engagement is intended as a protest against tho terms of the new award, which provides for hourly payment instead of contract.
