BJSCEIfT «3CAMrNATIOX RESULTS. The annual examinations under the Coal Mines Act, 1908, were held at Huntly, Reefton, and Dunedin recently. The Board of Examiners under the Act, at its annual meeting held at Wellington on December 17 end 18, granted certificates including the following of Auckland interest : — First-class mine managers' certificate: W. T. Reid, New Lynn, Auckland. James Boyd, of Hikurangi, «U granted a partial pass for a first-cla«s mine manager's certificate. Second-class mine manager's certificate: R C. Coan, of Rotowaro, completed his examination and waa granted a. certificate. Messts. Edward Johnson, of Pukemiro Junction, and M. J. Tansey, istar Town, Huntlr, were each frrantod partial paeßPs for a second-class mine manager* certificate.
