» Applications Pouring In. Right from the first the Mammoth Sports Art Union has "caught on." The magnitude of- the prizes—£4ooo in pure alluvial gold—lias fired the imagination of the public. The worthiness of the enterprise has appealed to all lovers of healthy out-door games. It is a Mammoth Art Union ill every sense, held for a good purpose, and applications for tickets are pouring in from all parts of the Dominion. Another attractive feature is that there is no long, anxious waiting for the prizes. The Art Union closes on November 21), and the prize-s will be j drawn' on December 22. There is every indication that the full issue of tickets will be taken up at an ear.ly date, and, since the number is limited, intending subscribers should get their tickets with sis little delay as possible, and avoid being disappointed.
