"STRANGLING BUSINESS." BERLIN BROKERS VIOLENT. ■ BERLIN, October 21. The members .of the Berlin Stock Exchange , struck yesterday as a protest against the maintenance of the turnover tax. This- was first imposed during the deflation period. Some of the brokers made violent speeches, asserting that the tax was strangling business.— (A. and N.Z.)
