THE PROPERTY MARKET.

WELLINGTON AGENTS' OPINIONS. (liy Telegraph. — Special to "Star. , ") WELLINGTON, this day. 'Business prospects are bright,"states the annual report of the Wellington Land Agents and Auctioneers' Association. It continues: "We look forward with confidence to the future. Properties not hampered with absurd reserves on them by their owners are finding ready sale, and there is an unsatisfied demand for good building sections, both in the city and suburbs. It is pleasing to note that these sections are being acquired for building homes thereon, not for speculative purposes. During the past year there has been a steady demand for residences, businesses and warehouse sites, and building sections. The demand for farm properties, especially of large sizes, has been very quiet owing to financial stress. Men on the land have been going through a bad time, but with a rise in wool and general improvement in markets, the outlook is somewhat brighter, and the demand for farm properties is recovering in some measure."
