The Salvation Army 8.8.8. 'Fair was opened ,by Mr. G. Baildon, Deputy Mayor, at Uhe barracks, Albert Street, last evening. The fair is 'being lield in connection with the *K-denial appeal, and if it is as well ipatrouiscd to-day and to-morrow as it was hist evening, a considerable sum should ix raised.. tA. competition, as to the meaning of the three B'a was iheid, Imt the correct answer was not given. The meaning is '"Beautiful, Brofodingnagian, Bejeflcial."
