CHURCH BELLS MELTED. (Received 1 p.m.) PARIS, October 20. Forty-one of 45 houses in the village of Novelhaubsavoie were burned down yesterday. The villagers took refuge in a neigh- | bouring hamlet, the heat being so in- | tense that the church bells were melted. I (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
