REPORTED MISSING.
A TASMANIAN SAILER. VESSEL LONG OVERDUE. (Received.ll.no a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. No news has yet been heard of the scow Cathkit. which is now 45 days out from Hobart for Melbourne. Much anxiety is felt concerning the safety of the vessel, as strong northerly winds prevailed since she left Hcliart. The Cathkit was last reported to be sheltering under the Tasmanian coast on September 21. It was thought possible she might still be in some bay, but in view of fair weather during the last few days. this possibility is becoming less likely.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
