NOVEL INSURANCE.
THE RISK OF RAIN. FINE WEATHER FOR SHOW. COMPANY PAYS OUT £200. (By Cable.—(Press Association. —Copyright.-) (Received 12 noon.) SYDNEY, this day. A novel insurance was effected by the committee at Tatura Jubilee Show last week, when it insured against weather. The amount was £200, and a premium of £25 was agreed on. The company was to pay if it rained between six in the morning and noon to the extent of ton points or more. Actually fourteen points fell, so the committee gained from the company what it lost by attendance. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
