FOUND DYING.

DEATH IN HOSPITAL MARRIED MAN'S END. A man. who was subsequently identified as William Henry Langford, aged 38. was fouud dying in the Domain Drive, near the Kiosk, at about 8.15 p.m. yesterday. He was taken to the Hospital, where he died at 9 o'clock without regaining consciousness. Deceased was a married man, and leaves a wife and family in England. Hβ carried on business in a second-hand shop at 237, Khyber Pass Road. A Mr. Mellen found deceased on the Drive, and with the aid of a passing motorist was responsible for taking him to the Hospital. An inquest was opened this morning, Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., presiding and Sergeant McAlister representing the police. Evidence was given to the effect that deceased had been worried and drinking. The last occasion on which he was seen prior to his being found dying was at 7 o'clock last evening. He was then not in a good state of health. When discovered on the Drive he said •something about having eaten a pie, which made him ill. The coroner adjourned the inquiry, pending receipt of medical evidence.
