• LADIES' PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP. The Auckland ladies' provincial championship concluded yesterday afternoon, when Mrs. T. C. Savage presented the prizes, anil Mrs. Snodgrass (Rotorua) expressed the appreciation of the visltora of the attention they had received from the clubs officials. The final of the club championship was played over 36 holes on Saturday last between L. Croison and R. G. Moffltt, resulting In a win for the former, 3 up and 1 to play. At the end of the morning round Croxsou was 4 up ou his opponent and increased his lead to 5 up at the 19th. hv winning the hole, 4—5. At the 31st. Moffltt was 1 down, but Croxson won the next hole, and by holing his approach at the 23rd, became dormy 3.
