GREAT NEW ZEALAND CHEESE
SALE BY AUCTION. LONDON, September 14. The sale by auction of a giant New Zealand cheese attracted a large gathering at the produce exchange.' There was keep competition among multiple shop companies. Bidding began at 111/ per, cwt, and rapidly rose to 182/. At that figure the cheese was knocked down to Mr. David Greig, who is the owner of 45 shops in London and the suburbs — (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
