WHANGAREI STOCK SALES. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report baying held their usual stock sale at Whangarei on July 10. There was an. average yarding of sheep, which met with fair competition at late rates. Cattle were yarded in small numbers, while dairy cows were penned in large numbers, meeting with Improved competition at advance of late rates. They quote: 4-year Romney ewes, 1.1. Romney rams, 2S/ to 2S/3; 5-year ewes, i.I- Roinney rams, 21/.
