WOMAN CLAIMS DAMAGES FOR ALLEGED ASSAULT. 03y Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Henry Robert Wilkinson, a Methodist mister, was sued in the Magistrate's jurt this morning by Maude Eva Noble, widow, for £50 damages, alleged to ive been caused by assault. It was stated that the couple met as ie result of a newspaper advertisement id became engaged. A dispute occurred, id when plaintiff refused to give a ramophone back it is alleged that jfendant asaulted her. The case is proceeding.
